Denton Auto Repair

I live in The Colony, 40 minutes away, and will always come here for a trustworthy mechanic - everything down to an oil change. The prices are fair, and the mechanics are great. They provide honest customer service and always educate you about your car. I have met the owner and several mechanics. One thing is true, they always have the customer in mind.

I've been in multiple times for routine maintenance, break work, and more. Good people do good work in the time and at the price they quoted. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

My son is going to school at UNT. I took him his Jeep that I had just done a lot of work to. On the way up a 5 hour drive the A/C went out. Lost the bearing. So I can’t drive back and I don’t have the tools to repair it myself. I asked the local Advance Auto who do they recommend. WITHOUT hesitation they suggest Strandes Garage and gave me the number. So I checked out all the reviews I could find and gave them a call on Monday morning and talked to TJ.

He was extremely understanding and helpful even suggested a better repair then what I wanted but was willing to do it my way. I called him back this morning before my son dropped off the Jeep and asked him to do the repair the way he suggested. My son just picked up the Jeep and sent me text that it’s cooling great and making no noise. TJ took my payment over the phone. Thank goodness. The price is exactly what I expected to pay and what he quoted over the phone site unseen. I couldn’t have drove back to Denton and repaired myself for any less. Thanks for your help.

I honestly could not say enough good things about this place, they really went above and beyond for this mom of two little ones my ac had gone out and they did everything to be sure my truck was up and running. And they did! With great customer service. Very friendly and understanding of my wild ones � thank y'all!!

Best mechanic in town! TJ is upfront and honest about repairs and costs. There are never any hidden costs and I never doubt that my car is in good hands. I recommend Strande's Garage to everyone I know and always bring my car to them.

Strandes is where I always suggest people go when they have any kind of car problem in Denton. Kevin and the other mechanics there are smart, efficient, honest, and damn good at what they do. I've taken a 1969 van and a 2008 sedan to Strandes for everything over the last 5 years, and they always know how to help me out, and often how to save me some money in the process. Moreover, multiple friends whom I've sent to Strandes have come away singing their praises. They don't do every job under the sun, but whenever I've needed specialty work, Kevin knows just where to send me to get it done right. These guys have really earned my trust, and I recommend them without reservation.
